Description
Deye BMU for BOS-G Battery
Deye BMU for BOS-G Battery.
The Deye Cluster Control Box, also known as a Battery Management Unit (BMU), is a crucial component in a solar energy system that uses Deye BOS-G batteries.
Its primary function is to monitor and manage the battery’s performance to ensure optimal efficiency, safety, and longevity.
Additionally, it offers a nominal and max charge/discharge current of 100A and 125A respectively.
The DC input sits at 12±2% V/4.15A, and the device can withstand temperatures between -20~55ºC.
One of its critical features is its ability to automate the management of each cell’s charge and discharge states.
This ensures balanced current and voltage while offering protection against overheating, Deye 6.14kWh Lithium-Ion Battery:
High Efficiency, Long Lifespan and Powerful Solar Energy Storage Solution, or over-discharging.
Here are some of the benefits of using the Deye Cluster Control Box BMU:
- Safe and reliable operation of the battery.
- Extended lifespan of the battery.
- Improved performance of the battery.
- Reduced risk of fire or explosion.
- Peace of mind for the user.

Lithium iron phosphate battery advantages
- Lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4 or LFP) offer lots of benefits compared to lead-acid batteries and other lithium batteries.
- Longer life span, no maintenance, extremely safe, lightweight, improved discharge and charge efficiency, just to name a few.
- LiFePO4 batteries are not the cheapest in the market, but due to a long life span and zero maintenance, it’s the best investment you can make over time.
Lithium has a long lifespan
- Super B lithium iron phosphate batteries live up to 5000 cycles at 80 percent depth of discharge, without decreasing in performance.
- The average lifetime of lead-acid batteries is just two years.
No active maintenance
- Super B lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4) don’t require active maintenance to extend their service life.
- Also, the batteries show no memory effects and due to low self-discharge (<3% per month), you can store them for a longer period of time.
- Lead-acid batteries need special maintenance.
- If not their life span will be decreased even more.
Lightweight champion
- Super B lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4) offer high power density which causes lithium batteries to be relatively small and light.
- Compared to lead-acid batteries lithium provides great energy density and are at least half the mass.
- Go for lithium if you want to reduce concerns about battery weight and size!
